4Biomass Final Conference March 2012

During the conference the main outputs and a summary of the lessons learned during the project will be presented to the public. The contents are addressed to policy makers, implementing agencies, investors and the interested public in the field of bioenergy.

Preliminary Agenda: The first day of conference is dedicated to the nominated Central European Bioenergy Centre. A special workshop will be held at the Agency for Renewable Resources in Gülzow/Germany.

The second Transnational Forum, the second day of conference, will be held in Berlin. The major output of the project, the Transnational Aciton Plan, will be presented and discussed and a Joint Declaration will be signed. Representatives of the CE countries will explain their bioenergy strategies and tragectories to reach the targets in the nREAPs. The overall subject of the third day are sustainable bioenergy investments in the CE region. During the conference, selected demoprojects will be presented together with the Lessons learned. A discussion on the subject of sustainable biomass will be led by project partners.
